Wednesday 7 October 2009 – A handpicked selection of the UK’s finest musical talent, included Kano, DJ Yoda, Goldie, Ms Dynamite, Booty Luv and Sister Bliss to name but a few, collaborated tonight to celebrate the launch of the Satio and Aino handsets. Artists on the evening performed a classic reinvention of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, lending their individual styles to create a uniquely mesmerizing live set

The first season sprung to life with Tom Middleton laying down the beats for Kano to freestyle over. Kano said: “It was amazing performing with a man born with razor sharp skills and I don’t remember enjoying MC’ing so much in a long time”

Sister Bliss and Ms Dynamite shone brightly with their take on the Summer season, with the female producer commenting that: “It’s been a fantastic experience working with Ms Dynamite and I hope we get to collaborate again in the future.” Ms Dynamite vibed off the audience commenting; “tonight allowed me to experiment, improvise and sing my heart out.”

Layo & Bushwacka! were joined on stage by the inimitable Scroobious Pip, who blew the audience away with his formidable talent during the vocals for the Autumn season. Scroobius Pip commented “It’s been an amazing opportunity to collaborate with such amazing artists like Layo & Bushwacka!. Everybody pushed each other with their performances and I think it’s turned out really well.”

For the final season, Goldie and Booty Luv set Winter on fire and thawed out the most chilled out members of the audience. Goldie boasted that, “we were the perfect collaboration for the finale of this fantastic event”.

As four seasons drew to a close, DJ Yoda took to the stage for an aw-inspiring audio visual set, bringing to life the footage filmed by Oscar-winning Film Director Andrea Arnold. Stephen Graham, esteemed actor and man about town, opened and closed the evening’s proceedings.

The event gathered a collective of music producers – Goldie, Layo & Bushwacka!, Sister Bliss & Tom Middleton, teamed them with Kano, Scroobius Pip, Ms Dynamite & Booty Luv and challenged them to reversion Vivaldi’s classical masterpiece The Four Seasons. In 7 hours. For one night only. Watch Here:
